Hays HR are proud to be working exclusively with a market leading manufacturing organisation in Cwmbran. They are looking for an experienced HR professional who also has a passion for welfare and wellbeing!
Your new role
This is a stand-alone position on-site in Cwmbran reporting into the Business Director. You will be responsible for HR and welfare, including:
- Being responsible for the end-to-end recruitment cycle
- Supporting line managers with basic employee relations processes such as disciplinaries, grievances, capability (for complex HR matters, you will have access to an external lawyer))
- Supporting managers with their staff's development and contributing to overall succession planning
- Undertake HR admin tasks including scheduling training events, action plans and employee surveys.
- Undertake HR projects such as pay reviews, administrating the annual bonus scheme and updating the staff handbook and policies when appropriate.
- Create the monthly payroll summary for the finance department to process.
What you'll need to succeed
- Have previous experience as an HR Administrator
- Have good knowledge of employment law and up-to-date legislation
- Hold a Mental Health First Aid Qualification (desired but not essential)
- Have a CIPD Qualification (Desired not essential)
- The ability to work on your own initiative, have good organisation and time-keeping skills due to the role being stand-alone.
- Excellent communication skills to develop great working relationships with line managers and colleagues.
