An industrious HR Generalist is required for a team member role within a thriving industrial / manufacturing enterprise. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering an efficient/forward thinking HR service onsite in Halifax.

Client Details

Our client is a reputable player in the industrial / manufacturing sector. With a workforce of 100 employees based onsite in Halifax.

Description

  • Providing comprehensive HR support to the site
  • Assisting with recruitment, training and development initiatives.
  • Handling employee relations and grievances.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and company policies.
  • Participating in performance management processes.
  • Contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating and implementing office health and safety measures.

Profile

A successful HR Generalist should have:

  • HR generalist experience with the ability to work stand alone onsite
  • Have worked in a manufacturing environment ideally in a shift/rostered environment
  • CIPD Level 5 or working towards
  • A strong understanding of UK employment law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • A proactive and professional approach to tasks.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
