A niche Financial Services company based in West/Central London are now looking to hire an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager. This is a great business with a good culture who specialise in ethical investing around the world. They have circa 650 employees spread over 10 offices worldwide and a HR team of 30.

There will be 3 core elements to this role

1 - Team management of 4

2 - Recruitment for your own client group. This will be a low volume, high touch group.

3 - Projects, innovation, improvement of the overall TA function/offering/team, projects.

Successful candidates must have experience in all three elements.

This role will suit candidates that have previous TA Management experience within a small to medium sized business ideally private equity, investment management, or asset management. Extensive team management experience is necessary as well as the ability to personally hands-on run recruitment processes end to end, excellent stakeholder management and a eye for process improvements and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end recruitment process for all hires within allocated client group and serve as first point of escalation for lateral, onboarding & experiences activity
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Lateral, Onboarding & Experiences team and help create an open and inclusive environment for wider Talent Acquisition team
  • Lead the execution of the agreed TA Lateral strategy in line with overall company wide strategy across multiple business areas in multiple countries
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures in line with industry best practices and the TA strategy (e.g., job application and onboarding processes)
  • Continuously review the preferred supplier list (PSL) and run an annual assessment to ensure they're providing best value and service to the business across all our core and strategic locations. Including, but not limited to contracting, updating a centralised list and ensuring team adherence to PSL.
  • Facilitate Global mobility process and work with internal stakeholder to support a positive employee experience
  • Take a data driven approach to develop recruitment offering by keeping track of key recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire) to enable meaningful and intentional delivery
  • Build relationships and partner with committees, regional working groups and key stakeholders to communicate, drive and implement the Lateral Talent recruitment strategy
  • Embed diversity in all aspects of recruitment and deliver outstanding candidate engagement and experience
  • Implementation of and adherence to key governance requirements including some budget management
  • Proactively stay up to date with recruitment strategies, tools, and learnings. Share and/or apply findings where appropriate and in lined with wider Talent Acquisition strategy
  • As a member of the Talent Acquisition Management team, take up ad-hoc projects to contribute and support the delivery of the wider TA Strategy

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a small-medium sized Financial Services business ideally Private Equity, Investment Management or Asset Management
  • Extensive experience of managing and developing a Talent function within a complex organisation.
  • Proven experience of managing, developing, or coaching a team of more than 3+ employees.
  • Proven experience managing end to end lateral recruitment across different business areas
  • Has previously delivered or helped to improve the offering of a TA team - process improvements, innovation etc.
  • Applied experience of driving performance and continuous improvement through data based and evidence-based decision making.
  • Meaningful track record and strong forward-looking commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and how recruitment can create a more diverse workforce at all levels.
  • Expertise in best practice assessment and selection for lateral hiring and onboarding
  • Curious and passionate about innovation. Not afraid to experiment and learn from mistakes
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrable skills in building effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A natural collaborator with strong business acumen
  • High levels of attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
