Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement SWP Process: Continuously improve the strategic workforce planning process to align with our organizational goals.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Create and utilize SWP models to forecast future skill needs and align with our location strategy. Analyze workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Long-Term Planning: Collaborate on the development of a 5-year workforce plan, ensuring alignment with our long-term objectives and business needs.
  • Facilitate Scenario Planning: Lead scenario planning workshops with casework teams, HR colleagues, and enabling functions, gathering insights to drive effective decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Strategic People Partners, Organisational Capability colleagues, and key stakeholders to support the deployment of change projects and ensure seamless integration with operational plans.
  • Horizon Scanning: Conduct external market and regulatory analysis to anticipate workforce challenges and integrate these insights into our workforce strategies.
  • Reporting and Insights: Prepare detailed reports for senior leaders, providing actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Capability Building: Develop and deliver tools and training to build SWP capability across the business, ensuring teams are equipped with the necessary data, skills, and knowledge.

You must have;

  • CIPD Strategic Workforce Planning qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing SWP methodologies in small to medium-sized organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to source and validate data for informed recommendations.
  • Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing future workforce challenges.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships, influence across all levels, and lead through ambiguity.
