Oakleaf Partnership are representing a national insurance specialist to recruit for a Recruitment Coordinator. The Recruitment Coordinator will a key liaison between candidates, hiring manager and recruitment agencies and gain exposure to a variety of recruitment facets in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
About the role
The role is extremely multifaceted, and responsibilities involve:
- Collaborate with the recruitment team, HR, business leaders, and employees to support the organization's hiring activities
- Manage high-volume interview scheduling across multiple business areas, maintaining close communication with hiring managers
- Post job openings in the applicant tracking system and other recruitment platforms, updating the system with candidate progress and feedback
- Liaise daily with recruitment agencies regarding candidates and interview coordination
- Respond to candidate queries in a timely manner, escalating to recruiters as needed
- Support the recruitment team with talent attraction initiatives, including creating process documents and presentations
- Process candidate travel expenses and agency invoices
- Assist with organizing and running campus events, graduate/intern interview days, and other recruitment-related projects
Candidate profile/experience
The ideal candidate will be used to high volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will be proactive and contribute to the team's strategy working towards continuous improvement. The recruitment coordinator should also possess the following skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in campus recruitment and working within an in-house recruitment team
- Familiarity with fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environments where interview scheduling can be complex
- Excellent organizational skills and a sense of personal ownership, able to multitask effectively
- Intellectually curious, with a positive attitude towards change and a drive to improve processes
- Demonstrates the organization's core competencies, including technical skills, drive and motivation, teamwork, communication, judgment and problem-solving, creativity/innovation, and the ability to influence outcomes
