The role;
As the People and Culture Manager, you will support the HR Director, in positioning the HR function as a strategic partner within the organisation. Your primary focus will be on recruitment, utilising the ATS system, and enhancing HR capabilities to support the company's growth and scaling efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. 50% of this role is recruitment
- Develop and implement HR processes and systems, with a focus on planning and efficiency.
- Partner with the research and data team to support workforce planning and development.
- Manage training and development initiatives, including the use of LinkedIn Learning.
- Launch and run workshops on the new staff handbook.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive strategic HR projects and initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in HR management, with a strong focus on recruitment and strategic HR initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to critique and refine content.
- Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Personio, and a knack for process improvement.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for ethical practices in the food sector, particularly around animal welfare and sustainability.
