Oakleaf Partnership are working with a leading, forward-thinking UK company in the logistics and distribution sector. They have an exciting new opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner. This is a brand-new role within the business, perfect for an experienced recruitment professional looking to build and transform a recruitment function from the ground up. You'll play a key role in supporting the company's expansion and growth goals by creating an innovative and inclusive recruitment strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact within a rapidly growing business by bringing your expertise and creativity to the table.

What is the role?

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will report to and work closely with the Chief People Officer, and

  • Lead and optimize the entire recruitment process, from designing interview structures to overseeing onboarding processes.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and business partners to develop attraction strategies and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Lead on the research and implementation of technologies to support and automate process.
  • Drive initiatives in employer branding, diversity, inclusivity, and apprenticeship programs, particularly within technical and business support areas.
  • Implement referral schemes for tech roles and introduce policies for knowledge sharing and phased retirement.

Candidate profile/experience

The successful candidate will have proven experience and success in recruitment, ideally in a strategic or transformation-focused role. You will possess strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to coach hiring managers and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. You will have a proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for enhancing the candidate journey and implementing inclusive practices. An interest in areas such as early careers and diversity, equity & inclusion are beneficial. Knowledge or awareness of the challenges of recruiting roles like HGV Technicians is a must.
