Our Ref: ADW00574

This specialist niche manufacturing company, with operations in the UK and Germany, is seeking a skilled Interim HR Consultant to lead the integration of their recently acquired business in Wetzlar, Germany.

This hands-on role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition and fostering collaboration between teams across the German and UK businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translation & Interpretation: Analyse and translate critical People-data from German to English (and vice versa) to ensure seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Integration Planning: Develop and implement people-focused integration strategies.
  • 'Quick Wins': Pinpoint and execute high-impact, immediate opportunities for improvement.
  • Management Engagement: Work closely with management to address and resolve legacy issues, with sensitivity and professionalism.

What We're Looking For:

  • Credibility: A HR lead with proven ability to engage and build trust with employees at all levels.
  • Cultural Understanding: In-depth knowledge of German business culture and its integration with international processes.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to provide practical and hands on HR support, in a small team environment (60 staff in Germany, 120 internationally).

N.B. This role will initially be part-time, requiring 2-3 days work per week, hybrid working (1-2 days onsite every week), for approximately 6 months. However, with growth ambitions, particularly in Germany, this position has the potential to evolve into a more extended or permanent opportunity.

This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a growing international organisation and to make a meaningful impact during an exciting period of transition and expansion.
