Location: Hybrid - 2 days on-site (East and Central London)

We are seeking a HR Advisor to join a well-established and supportive HR team in a forward-thinking organisation undergoing significant transformation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful change while building on your experience in a generalist HR role.



About the Role:

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's people management practices and providing expert guidance to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising and guiding managers on employment policies and procedures, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management.
  • Handling complex employee relations casework with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach.
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders, particularly within a professional client group that includes a large proportion of lawyers.
  • Supporting HR initiatives, workshops, and projects to drive process improvements and organisational goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices.


About You:

You are a proactive and pragmatic HR professional with a proven track record of managing complex casework and implementing HR policies effectively. Your ability to use sound judgment, build strong stakeholder relationships, and provide practical HR advice sets you apart.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex employee relations casework.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
  • Proven ability to coach and support managers through HR processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a professional client group.
  • Flexibility to attend team meetings on-site twice weekly and occasional travel to Edinburgh (quarterly).
