Training and Communications Specialist - Fieldglass

6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Remote, with occasional travel to London

Oakleaf Partnership are currently recruiting for a Global B2B company to secure a maternity cover Training and Communications Specialist, who will be responsible for delivering the training and communications workstream on all new projects and expansion efforts for the UK and EMEA.
Whilst this role has a focus on change management communications the core area of expertise required is Fieldglass Training.
The role includes writing effective change management communications and plans for implementation with a large proportion of tasks focused on delivering Fieldglass training (SAP Product) to multiple users of the technology.


A Fieldglass Trainer is responsible for providing training and support for users of the SAP Fieldglass system. The trainer helps users understand the system's features, such as master data, associations, and administrative information. The training covers both basics and advanced levels of SAP Fieldglass which includes an understanding of the User Interface.


The role requires the individual to work with the implementation project management team on a day-to-day basis, gain an understanding of the customer tailored product through design workshops plus UAT and deliver the necessary training to various users internally and externally.
Whilst the role has both a change management and Fieldglass focus there is an opportunity to work with other market leading Vendor Management Systems (VMS). providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of training and communications plan for new implementations and existing clients.
  • Conducting training for new and existing clients and team members.
  • Creating and editing communications for suppliers and clients as per agreed communications plan.
  • Creating training documentation which includes presentations, training videos and reference guides.
  • Assessing current training and training documentation and recommending revisions in scope, format and content.
  • Maintaining training materials and other tools and functions associated with training & maintaining a communication template library.
  • Collating and analysing feedback to improve communication and training activities.

  • Excellent communication skills - Ability to speak in public to large groups as well as small groups.

  • Time management Skills

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Fieldglass Training.
  • Full working knowledge and ability to utilize the following software programs: Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Turtle, MS Project, WebEx and Visio
  • Experience in a training role or having delivered training to internal or external clients.
  • Instructional design and development experience.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and react according to priority.
