Oakleaf are partnering with a dynamic and growing insurance broker with offices across the England, Ireland, Gibraltar, and an emerging presence in Asia.

As they continue to grow through strategic acquisitions and European expansion, they are seeking a passionate HR Business Partner to join our collaborative People & Culture team.

This role offers true ownership of a business unit and the opportunity to make a real impact in a rapidly evolving organisation.

What is the role:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with one of our largest business units (70-80% focus on MGA/underwriting operations) to provide strategic HR support and guidance
  • Design and facilitate training programs and learning & development initiatives
  • Contribute to group-level projects and EDI initiatives
  • Support recruitment activities and talent acquisition strategies
  • Provide strategic HR consultancy to business leaders
  • Collaborate on M&A integration projects
  • Drive value-add initiatives and process improvements
  • Travel quarterly to our offices across the UK, Ireland, and Gibraltar
  • Support the implementation of people strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive company culture

Candidate Profile / experience:

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience, ideally within financial services (though exceptional candidates from other sectors will be considered)
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building abilities
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in designing and implementing L&D programs
  • Passion for EDI and driving positive cultural change
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in office)
  • Willing to travel occasionally to international offices
