People & Culture Manager (HRBP)

3-Month day rate temp

Up to £260 a day

Hybrid working with a central London based office

Oakleaf Partnership are exclusively recruiting for a Technology Consultancy based in Central London to secure a HR Manager for a 3-month temporary assignment.

Role Overview:
This position requires a talented individual with a robust understanding of HR best practices and recruitment experience. The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, and possess great attention to detail. Ambition, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well within the People & Culture Team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations/Compliance: Create employment contracts, maintain employment records, and ensure compliance with UK Employment Law.
- Business Partner: Provide HR support across all business levels, manage organisational design, and facilitate team-building activities.
- Recruitment: Support line managers in talent acquisition, liaise with recruitment agencies, and plan the interview process.
- HR Projects: Implement a holistic people strategy focusing on D&I initiatives, employee engagement, and retention.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, handle grievances, and disciplinary issues.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and roll out engagement and well-being initiatives, participate in the social committee, and lead CSR initiatives.
- Talent Management: Support managers in managing team talent, including addressing poor performance.
- HR Analytics: Analyse data to identify trends and recommend areas for improvement.

Requirements:
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 5.
- Experience: Minimum of five years as an HR generalist.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge of best practices, employment legislation, and recruitment processes. Excellent communication and IT skills (intermediate MS Word/Excel). Database management experience is advantageous.
- Attributes: Highly organised, strong attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
