An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic, operational and people-focused Head of Global HR to lead and develop the human resources department in a leading financial services organisation based in London.

Description

  • Provide leadership to the global HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the company's business objectives.
  • Promote the company values and ensure the team's alignment with these.
  • Manage HR-related projects, such as talent acquisition, retention strategies, and succession planning.
  • Provide guidance on all aspects of HR, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations in all regions where the company operates.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in HR management, applying these to improve the department's effectiveness.
  • Oversee the use of Bamboo HR and other HR management systems, ensuring they are used effectively to support HR activities.

Profile

The successful Head of Global HR will have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Recent Financial Services regulatory knowlege (FCA / PRA) within a Financial Services firm(s).
  • Substantial and recent M&A experience on a global scale
  • Demonstrable experience of compensation and benefits alignment within a Financial Services setting on a global scale.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Demonstrable experience of recently managing a HR team on a global scale
  • Excellent knowledge of HR practices and employment law, both nationally and globally.
  • Proficiency in Bamboo HR or a similar HR management system.
  • The ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
