Are you passionate about data, reporting, and turning insights into action? Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping the way HR and wider business use information to drive decision-making?

Oakleaf Partnership are working with a Not-for-Profit organisation in Manchester who are seeking an HR Information Analyst to join and support the wider HR team and business on a permanent basis. The role will be responsible for building and maintaining reports and self-service dashboards and conduct analysis to embed a data-driven culture to ultimately improve business performance and manage risk. The role is based in Manchester and offers hybrid and flexible working.

What is the role?

As an HR Information Analyst, you will report to the HR Systems Manager and be responsible for:

  • Producing reports, dashboards, and insights in Business Objects to support decision-making.
  • Delivering accurate, timely and meaningful data analysis
  • Acting as the reporting champion for Business Objects and other modern reporting tools
  • Developing clear and measurable KPIs and delivering regular reporting, including monthly scorecards and annual reports.
  • Creating dashboards to support compliance, process management, and data integrity.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and training to end users to enhance system and data awareness.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party contractors to deliver data improvement projects.

Candidate profile/experience

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and HR. You will have previous experience using PowerBI and Business Objects to create reports and analyse data. You will have advanced Excel skills with proficiency in vlookup and pivot tables. You will have a strong understanding of HR metrics, analytics strategies and performance indicators. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to work with accuracy and to tight deadlines. You will be data-driven and have a natural desire to continuously review and improve processes. Knowledge of iTrent would also be beneficial but not essential.
