Oakleaf Partnership are representing a forward-thinking international law firm with offices across the UK, Ireland and Hong Kong to recruit for a People Development Advisor to join their 30 strong HR team in London and work to shape and deliver learning initiatives across the firm.

About the role:

  • Design and deliver professional skills and leadership development programmes across all career levels, including senior leadership
  • Conduct training needs analysis and develop new learning initiatives, including maintaining and creating engaging eLearning content
  • Lead firm-wide induction programmes and work closely with HR and business managers to identify and address specific learning needs
  • Source and manage relationships with external training providers, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget
  • Monitor L&D trends in HR and legal sectors to maintain best practice approaches
  • Support early careers professionals in developing appropriate learning frameworks
  • Maintain and update learning materials, frameworks, and intranet resources
  • Provide coaching and supervision to the People Development Coordinator
  • Travel occasionally to other UK offices as required

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have had solid exposure to a Learning and Development advisor position ideally within professional services.

The People Development Advisor will possess:

  • A genuine passion for helping others learn and develop
  • Experience and confidence to facilitate training with excellent presentation skills
  • Have experience with e-learning creation tools - ideally articulate
  • Hold an accreditation with atleast one psychometric tool
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate proactivity, resilience and excellent project management capabilities
  • Bring a commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Manage multiple projects and maintain high standards
