The Role

Are you ready to lead and innovate in a newly created role? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Employment Services Manager/HR helpdesk Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and improve our employment services, ensuring efficiency and excellence across our global operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Service Delivery: Establish and implement standardised processes for consistent service delivery across UK and global operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and quality within the team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Administrators and Administrators, ensuring effective delivery and adherence to processes.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver a seamless service to internal and external customers through various channels, ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to established processes, Group policies, procedures, and applicable employment legislation.
  • Data Management: Oversee the accurate input and maintenance of employee data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Service Level Monitoring: Set and monitor team standards for delivery, ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Project Support: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing People Team service deliverables and the overall employee experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to propose ideas and solutions that enhance service delivery.

Our Successful Candidate

You will have experience of managing an administration team within a HR/People function and in a shared services environment. Experience of using a range of IT systems and software is essential, specifically HRIS systems. 

You will have knowledge of employment practices and processes relating to the employment lifecycle. Although knowledge of employment legislation is not essential, it would be a benefit.

Experience of working within a Higher Education Institution or a large organisation would be advantageous.
